In Shades of Blue for MDW

Happy Memorial Day Weekend everybody!

I am so grateful for all of those who have served in our country’s armed forces and have made it possible for me to dream big and make it a reality (well, hopefully haha, still working on it).

Here’s some outfit inspiration for those of you that are interested.

I found these amazing geometric 70’s inspired high waist split pants for $32! I’m linking what I can below.

Also, I forgot my wool hat in Hawaii last year, so I’ve been on the hunt for an affordable 100% wool hat…and I finally found one for $12.20! It’s so gorgeous, I like it better than my old one. *edit-the one I bought is sold out, I found a similar one though!

My vest is from The Limited, they aren’t in business anymore, but I’m linking a similar version.

Get my look:

Black wool hat | $12.20

Split Pants | $32.00

Miss Volare Powder watch | $215 (use code “fashioncomposium” for 12% off)

Heels (similar) | $22.00

Vest | $14.63

Choker | $4.98

Cropped Jacket and a Peplum Blouse

I recently got this cropped jacket from Aliexpress. It looks like those boleros/shrugs brides wear to make their wedding dress modest. I used my iron to make a tiny collar and lapels, I pinned the lapels down with a pair of really cute snowflake crystal pins I got for 55 cents each! I will link everything below. My cute little structured pink purse is from the shopping area right next to Ewha Woman’s University (my mom’s alma mater!) in Korea, it was only $10!

Also, I apply non-skid pads under most of my winter boots to avoid falling on my butt, haha. I did all the time when I first moved to Utah. I am now a proud snow-adapted fashionista *hair flip*

Get my look:

Bolero (I ordered color 47) | $12.31

White blouse (similar) | $17.48

White shorts (similar) | $8.99

Snowflake crystal pins | $0.55

Crystal choker | $8.30

EGO Ella OTK boots | $36.99

Non-skid pads | $2.48

Nude stockings | $10.33

For those that can afford it here are the Stuart Weitzman Highland boots!
