Eyelash Lace

Eyelash lace detailing always brightens my day! I love the ornate sophistication it adds to an outfit. I decided to pair it with some slick A line T strap sandals, designed by Alexander Wang, to pay homage to the gladiator trend that I’m not ready to part with just yet. And, a handmade crocodile skin purse from Korea like 10 years ago…I watched him make the last bit of it! I kept everything simple and finished this look with Chanel earrings and a pair of trendy sunglasses.

I take full responsibility for introducing the Great Plains to the illusion tunnel earring. hahaha. I’ve been rocking a pretty extensive collection of these statement pieces since a couple years back. I love how they can make a girl look slightly badass without stretching her ears out. It’s imperative that you purchase high quality illusion tunnel earrings. I’ve had several pairs fall off or break apart while I was walking around per usual in a sloth-like manner. This pair has been very good to me though. I love the subtle detail of the metallic finishes, and the pop of color is perfect for spring/summer.

I was drooling over these Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers for 6 months before I finally decided to buy them. Hands down, in the top 10% range of my greatest fashion investments. When you put these on, you just feel cooler than everybody else…Of course some people have commented on how ridiculous they are. But, I am a pretty ridiculous person so no offense taken. It’s a first glance trendy piece that transitions into an investment worthy classic after the first wear. Sneaker wedges of neutral tones exhibit the most versatility and if you’re the adventurous type, embrace those metallic accents!

I’m wearing H&M white floral dress, illusion tunnel earrings ($14.50), Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers, metal hair closure: couldn’t find the exact one I bought but similar here ($2.79), color block cross body purse: from Dongdaemun fashion district in Seoul, Korea ($10).

If you’re looking for a more structured floral piece, here’s another pretty dress from LuLu’s

Liberace and I would’ve really gotten along. Some days a girl just wants to feel over the top opulent. I love expressing my dramatic flair nonverbally via dressing myself with ornate lil pieces.

I’ve been overtly obsessed with lace lately… To the point where I have it wrapped all around my neck! The versatility of this ubiquitous open work fabric makes me giggle. I wear it to tea parties, to school, to the gun shooting range…I wore this outfit to  develop my natural talents and mitigate my Korean rage.

Executing a successful casual lace outfit is all about exuding that semblance of effortlessness.

And, this is me being very effortless. heehee.

This isn’t the typical thigh high slit I’m used to seeing…because I found it in my momma’s closet! It’s vintage Versace and fits me perfectly.

I’m wearing woven leather belt (bebe), black leather strappy heels (Mossimo, from Target for $10..day after Xmas clearance score), brass cuff: Street vendor in Korea ($10), vintage Chanel quilted shoulder bag, and a ruffle top from the am/pm building in Dongdaemun shopping district of Seoul, Korea. I haggled the store manager and got it for $10 by saying “Manwon e ssalggeyo” with a super serious face.
