Today’s outfit showcases my interpretation of the “grunge look.” I consider myself too old to pull off full on grunge, so I urbanized my look by adding chic details — like the tassel earrings and thigh high nylon socks. Aren’t these earrings adorable?! I got them for $4.68 and I love the quality!!!
Don’t you love how most of the interesting items I buy are dirt cheap?! Hahahhaa
The killer spiked out leather cuff was my mom in law’s. She gave it to me because I stared at it with hungry eyes. I bought the oversized olive jacket in Korea. My distressed shorts are Dolce & Gabbana and my tote is from Louis Vuitton. Affordable distressed shorts, similar olive jackets, and my Gucci sunglasses are linked in the slider below.
I bought these illusion tunnel earrings from Aliexpress a while ago and can’t find them anywhere. But, there’s a similar pair available on Amazon (here).
Gladiators are the sandals that never seem to go out of style. Sported by Goddesses long ago and trendy fashionistas today — this post is a tribute to the gladiator glory.
I braved the mountains of Utah and hiked up 30 feet up from where I parked my car, to stand atop treacherous rocks and sport these sandals that emulate strength and courage.
The amazing gladiator heels I’m wearing are from Qupid. They always have very affordable and stylish designs. I couldn’t find this exact pair, but here’s a similar pair from the same company under $30 (here).
My mominlaw actually gave me the gladiators I’m wearing. She took them out of her closet and I stared at them with hungry eyes…VERY hungry eyes. Haha. She is the coolest mominlaw, ever.
I found this houndstooth skirt and black tweed collared blouse in Korea.
I am wearing the beautiful Louis Vuitton vernis shoulder bag in amarante.
“It isn’t the mountains ahead to climb that wear you out; it’s the pebble in your shoe.”
The Eiffel Tower is also beautiful at night! After the tower illuminates a magnificent gold, the sparkling light show occurs every hour on the hour for about 5 minutes until 1am. I love it. My white crop top is from H&M ($4) ,the tye-dye maxi is from a small boutique in Venice (€10), the Louis Vuitton purse is worn here, and the leather nude booties were also worn here .
I hope everyone is surviving through the winter cold fashionably! My next post will showcase my first winter look. I’m in Utah right now, and snow has only recently begun to fall .
I wore this chiffon off shoulder top in this post and purchased it here but, I have it untucked here to reveal its billowy greatness. It also works great as a bikini cover-up. I bought these D&G distressed shorts (also in this post) two years ago, and they are still one of my favorites! I only take out this Louis Vuitton monogram graffiti tote in the summer time. It’s temperamental and doesn’t blend in with other seasonal attire as well. Multicolored chandelier earrings and metallic gladiators from a lil shop in Vegas (Hottie). Gaudy big ring from a gaudy store in Yiwu shopping district in Zhejiang, China. My mom and I ran around that wholesale market all day stuffing a huge suitcase with accessories at sample prices. I have officially stolen these Dsquared sunglasses from my husband because the polarized lens really prohibit melanocyte hyper stimulation/freckle formation right under my eyes which I am ecstatic about! Heeheeee. I don’t like my freckles.
