I really enjoyed Sicily.  I’m an island girl and it exuded a familiar urbanized tropical vibe that I’ve grown to love. We got to visit a family owned winery that served the type of Italian food Macaroni Grill doesn’t. Uhehe. Our tour guide talked a lot about Sicily and gave us many details about the rich history the island harbors. I was asleep or not listening most of the time but I’m sure it was interesting!

My cutout tee is from one of the many little stores located in the Gangnam subway station (Seoul, Korea). My super comfy highwaisted jeans are from here. My accessories are all from previous posts in my travel diaries. I had to pack lightly for my extravagant extended vacation >.<

We accidentally ended up dining in this super chic Thai restaurant

IMG_2622

While roaming around in Malta we stepped into a restaurant that we believed to be Italian. Interestingly, it served cuisine that was a fusion of Thai and French! It was exactly what I was craving. Unfortunately, my refined Korean (Kim Chee loving) palette did not fare very well with the nonstop rich Italian food. I had gastrointestinal issues the entire time I was in Italy (T_T)! aaahhh haha

Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful Malta is. It’s a southern European island country of its own with picturesque island views and rich architectural monuments. I opted to reflect my beautiful yet casual surroundings with pastel jewel tones. I’ve had this accordion pleated top for several years now (I think it was $10 from Papaya), my shorts are from this post. Sandals and purse also worn here.

Getting Lost in Venice

I discovered that Venice is laden with many alleys that lead to the side of a building, or a small body of water. It was very frustrating for a directionally challenged individual like myself to get around without a guide aka my husband lol. Fortunately, a cute little boutique (where everything was 10 €) was located right next to our apartment. Thus, I ventured into that shop all by myself, hehe. I found these exceptionally comfortable nude parachute pants there. My navy tube top and braided headband are from H&M. I’m wearing a gold spiked necklace I found online (from China ofc)! I wore the booties and purse in this post.
